I always felt that there should be an arcade bar or a real arcade somewhere.”ĭuring the pandemic Corliss had the opportunity to travel and check out other “barcades” in Tennessee and Denver. “I had been watching this space for a long time and the former owners never really had the opportunity to use this front space at all. “Just like Luna’s happened, it was a matter of opportunity,” Corliss explained. One thing that the business owner stressed was that the arcade is a “family friendly” business and all ages of adults, teens and children are welcome to come in and enjoy the games. “We are going to do karaoke and singer/songwriter nights and really have fun with the stage.” GREELEY, CO – JULY 16:Games are seen during the grand opening of Stella’s Pinball Arcade and Lounge below the Moxi Theater in downtown Greeley July 16, 2021. “With how I can do this furniture and how I can add chairs, I think I can do around 35 seats for a ticketed event,” he said. “If it’s for a bachelor party, put a keg of beer through it or a special spiked punch or something.”Ĭorliss is working to bring in live comedy shows and smaller musical acts that would be swallowed up on the large stage at the Moxi. “I am working to get Kool-Aid or punch to go through it,” Corliss said. The arcade features a party room that is available to rent for special occasions, and in true Corliss fashion, its unique decorations really take the vibe of the arcade to another level - especially his plans for the room’s drinking fountain. While the arcade is the main feature of the space, Jerri J’s is still manning the kitchen area and will be whipping up some tasty sweets such as cupcakes and other baked goods in addition to savory foods.
